My son Alex has had shin splints for years but as he’s gotten older and is now playing up to 5 games of basketball a week they have gotten progressively worse. Dr Sims looked at all his casual shoes and his game shoes, recommending what is best for his feet. We only needed to buy a new pair of casual ones luckily. He also took in account that we didn’t have private heath which was also a relief. So with some orthotics and some exercises Alex has been able to maintain his games with little to no pain.
