Helen attained a BSc (Hons) in physiotherapy from the University of Wales College of Medicine, Cardiff, UK in 2000. She had extensive musculoskeletal experience working in UK hospital settings for 13 years, with both inpatients and outpatients. She also attained an MSc in Neuromusculoskeletal Physiotherapy in 2011 from Cardiff University.

Since moving to Australia in 2014, Helen has worked in private practice setting treating a mixed musculoskeletal caseload. She has also become a credentialled McKenzie therapist and is an associate member of the Australian Hand Therapist Association.

Helen is a Qualified Surf Life Saver and patrol member at Wamberal SLSC. She is the former team Physiotherapist for Welsh Women’s Rugby Union National Squads and is active in children's sport on the Central Coast.
