Phyllis Ng - Clinical Director, Chiropractor & Sports Trainer - Female - English & Cantonese - Walk-ins are welcome
Phyllis joined the Tensegrity team in 2015. She has graduated with Bachelor of Chiropractic Science as well as Masters of Chiropractic from Macquarie University. She is also a qualified sports trainer and since continued to further her education. From a young age, Phyllis has been heavily involved in sports of all kinds, ranging from basketball, netball and soccer to tennis and dancing (acrobatics). Health and fitness has always been a high priority for Phyllis, however she was restricted by injuries to her lower back and recurrent ankle sprains which eventually stopped her from participating in the sports she loved. She was able to return to sports after being treated and managed by sports chiropractors and manual therapists complemented with exercises, stretches and rehabilitation. Her passion for sports, interest in human anatomy, personal experiences and desire to help others to improve their health lead her to become a sports chiropractor. Phyllis focuses on working with you to treat the injuries, and understands the importance of examining body posture and finding abnormal bio-mechanical dysfunction to prevent and improve your health. She utilises a variety of techniques including manual adjusting, drop table, activator/impulse, taping, exercises, dry needling and soft tissue work to ensure the most effective treatment suitable for your body.
Anne Costan - Chiropractor and Sports Trainer- Female - English - Walk-ins are welcome
Anne has lived an active lifestyle since a young age where she played soccer, softball and completed all gradings in ballet, tap and jazz (BDA). After completing a Bachelor of Science, her love for sport and positive experiences with a Chiropractor sculpted her path to pursue her career. This was achieved by completing a Graduate Certificate and Masters of Chiropractic at Macquarie University. With a passion for sports Chiropractic, Anne has had experience treating a range of athletes including treating at triathlons and working for a women’s state league soccer team. She also has a strong focus on treating postural dysfunctions often developed due to increased computer use and desk work. Anne’s extensive understanding of human biomechanics aided by her multi-modal approach enables her to not only address injuries but restore function, muscle balance and prevent re-injury.
