We are a mobile service, which means we come to you!

We provide our clients with evidence-based recommendations and management plans to help guide treatment options.

 

Our Services include:

 

* Face-to-face or telehealth consultations
* Provide specialist short time and regular wound care for clients unable to be seen by other services (such as being on waiting lists).
* Comprehensive assessments including assessing and diagnosing wound types
* Tailored and individualised wound management plans
* Recommendations for current treating teams such as District Nursing, Practice Nurses and Aged Care Staff
*Auditing of wound practices and  wound products in aged care facilities
* Providing advice on pressure injury prevention strategies, especially in the high-risk population.
Emilie Masi has worked for 15 years as a Registered Nurse with a passion for wound healing, and is now endorsed as a Nurse Practitioner. Emilie established the first public health wound consultancy service within the Bass Coast Shire and has a keen interest in:

 

*Slow to heal wounds
*chronic leg ulcers
*Compression therapy including measuring and ordering prescription compression garments such as farrow wraps
* pressure injury prevention and management
* pain management for those suffering from wounds
* diabetic foot ulcers and patients at high risk of amputations.

Qualifications: Nurse Practitioner Education: Masters of Advanced Nursing Practice and Masters of Wound Management
Emilie has a passion for wound care, and has been working as a Wound Management Clinical Nurse Consultant at Bass Coast Health in Wonthaggi for 3 years. With 15 years of experience in Community Nursing, was endorsed as a Nurse Practitioner by Ahpra in January, 2022.

Qualifications:
* Masters of Wound Care ( Monash University, 2021)
* Masters of Advanced Nursing Practice (Deakin University)
* Bachelor of Nursing (Monash University)
*Diploma of Dementia care (UTAS)
* Diploma of Alcohol and other drugs and mental health (OTEN)
* Immunisation for Nurses
*Cert IV in Training and Assessment

Emilie works at a High Risk Foot Clinic with other allied health specialists, and has experience with pressure Injuries, venous leg ulcers, arterial ulcers, non-healing ulcers, atypical wounds and extensive wounds that require negative pressure systems.
