Prior to joining TMDental, Dr Gupta was the Senior Dentist at the Gold Coast University Hospital Dental Clinic. He was managing the complex oral care needs of special needs adults and children at the hospital. His experience at the hospital has made him all the more cautious of the fearful mindset of the patients. Dr Gupta explains the procedure to the patients to ensure that they are at ease during the treatment. He key areas of interests are in facial pain, sleep dentistry, as well as understanding the role that oral cavity plays in identifying and managing systemic diseases.
He is a music lover and while you're in the chair, you might be able to hear him singing along the radio.
When he's not at work, Dr Gupta enjoys doing yoga, playing tennis or going bike riding with his family.
