Bay Family Dental is a locally-owned general dentist practice that has a strong prevention focus.

We provide all aspects of dental care including general dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, veneers, crowns and implants.

We are a practice that strives to give individual care for all of our patients.

Services Available:

Preventive care: Prevention is better than cure, and has been shown to reduce the need for, and cost of, future dental treatment.
Restorative dentistry: We can treat cavities using composite resin (white fillings) or porcelain.
Cosmetic dentistry: We provide all services of cosmetic care from amalgam replacement, crowns, veneers and implants to Invisalign, bleaching and full smile reconstructions. A beautiful smile is not just the teeth, a beautiful smile is a whole mouth affair.
Orthodontics: We treat many orthodontic problems with conventional braces and can provide a referral for more complex cases.
Family dentistry: We provide all general dental services for the whole family.
Children's dentistry: We treat dental caries and make sport mouthguards for children and adults.
As a practice, we offer interest-free repayment plans, and participate in the Children's Dental Benefit Schedule. Our friendly approach makes us the leading dental clinic in Glenelg.

Dr Michael Turner has over 18 years of experience providing dental care to patients in Adelaide and regional South Australia. He graduated from the University of Adelaide in 2004 and spent his first couple of years working in Glenelg before moving to Mount Gambier and the Barossa Valley.

After nine years, Dr Michael decided to move his young family back to Adelaide to be closer to extended family and bought Bay Family Dental in 2017 (formally known as Nile Street Dental Care).

Dr Michael is passionate about helping you have a healthy mouth and getting the smile you have always wanted. He has an interest in all areas of general dentistry, including cosmetic, crown, bridge, and implant dentistry. He is dedicated to continuous learning and has undertaken further study in orthodontics focusing on clear aligner treatments to help his patients to get the smile they have always wanted.

Outside of work, Michael loves spending time with his wife , three young children, his Labrador and Labradoodle, going to the beach, AFL, and cricket.
