Hyde Park Dental has been providing customised, comfortable services to its clients for over 30 years. We take great pride in attributing our success on "word of mouth" marketing and providing preventive treatment options to individual needs. Our goal is to not only assist clients in retaining their natural teeth but to also ensure that any future problems are avoided.

Our practice is set up on a full service basis; we offer a conclusive range of restorative and cosmetic procedures. Hyde Park Dental goes to great lengths to inform clients of the current status of their dentition (via intra oral cameras) and then ensure we explain what treatment options are available to them.

Hyde Park Dental is transparent with their clients; our practice philosophy is based on providing them with essential information, to assist them in making viable decisions, whether it is a complex treatment or indeed a "no treatment" option. Fees are fully discussed beforehand, so that clients can make an informed choice on what treatment best suits their budget and lifestyle.

Dr Nick Lucas obtained his Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the university of Adelaide at the end of 1995 and gained employment in private practice at Hyde Park Dental straight out of university.

He believes the key to the success of Hyde Park Dental is being able to form long standing relationships over many years with his loyal clients. Customer service is high on the priority list, and listening to patients desires and delivering them with educated options allows his clients to make well informed decisions on their dental health.

Nick is devoted to providing compassionate and gentle care, offering a meticulous level of perfectionism with a warm and friendly personality. He enjoys the many different specialties that dentistry affords but especially enjoys the fulfillment that cosmetic dentistry can bring by the use of crown, veneers and tooth coloured digital Cerec restorations. He is proud to be one of the original users of CEREC (cad/cam) dentistry in South Australia with over 20 years' experience and was an original attendee at the world first 3D Digital Cerec course. Attending numerous continuing education courses allows him to constantly update his knowledge in the current ideas and techniques that make today's dentistry so advanced.

Nick also takes special consideration of our ageing population. Their inability to travel sees Nick visiting the local nursing homes in his spare time to look after the dental needs of these individuals.

Outside of dentistry his other passion is his family, the outdoors and food. With his wife and four children life is never dull.

Dr DanielMulvihill - General Dentist

Dr Daniel Mulvihill graduated from the University of Adelaide with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2010. Following this he entered private practice, working in Cairns, with a strong focus on family and cosmetic dentistry.

In 2013 Dr. Mulvihill returned home to Adelaide and joined the team at Hyde Park Dental. He has a keen interest in cosmetic, implant, orthodontic and digital dentistry (cerec).

He maintains a strong focus on continuing his education in all facets of dentistry to consolidate his knowledge and skills, as well as being an active member of the Australian Dental Association and the Australian Society of Endodontology.

Dr Mulvihill is passionate about incorporating the latest technologies and techniques to provide Hyde Park Dental patients with the highest standard of dental care.

Outside of dentistry, Dr Mulvihill appreciates all sports; particularly football, cricket, fishing and golf. He also thoroughly enjoys travelling with his wife Ali and spending time with his dog Rupert.
