About our practice

Keysborough Dental Surgery is a Dentist Clinc located in Keysborough, we offer professional preventive dental care.
Maintain your oral hygiene and get timely intervention on preventive dental treatment. Keysborough Dental Surgery is now offering dental implants to its patients. Root canal treatment is considered to be one of the most innovative and smartest techniques to save your damaged or decayed tooth. This treatment gives you an option to treat your tooth with the proper cleaning of root canals and fillings that permanently close the cavities.

Who Can Have A Root Canal?

Root canal treatment is a perfect dental care solution for patients who have teeth with an infected pulp chamber. The pulp chamber is an interior layer of a tooth that contain connective tissue, blood vessels, and nerves to help the tooth in its growth and development.

This infected pulp can lead to complications and tooth loss if not removed on time. If you experience any of the following symptoms, you should consult with your dentist to confirm that it is pulp infection and go for the root canal treatment:

Heightened sensitivity to heat and cold
Pain while biting or chewing
Facial swelling
Serioustooth pain
Bad breath
Fever

The Treatment Procedure

Our root canal dentist will diagnose your infected teeth to decide whether you need root canal treatment to address infected pulp. Our treatment starts with numbing your teeth to avoid any pain. We install a small shield around your infected tooth to make it clean, dry and isolated during the treatment process.

Our root canal specialist makes an access cavity into the pulp chamber to place the anti-infection medication that kills bacteria and stops the infection. We remove the infected pulp from the pulp chamber to help relieve the pain.

After removing the infected pulp, our expert dentist cleans and shapes the root canal to fill and seal your teeth. We install a crown over your tooth to make it stronger and compact.
