Dr Shanthini Rao - Principal Dentist

Dr Shanthini Rao graduated in 1994 in India and went on to complete her Australian Dental Examination Certificate in 2000. She has worked at several dental clinics throughout Melbourne gaining experience in all facets of modern dentistry.

She is an active member of Australian dental association and enjoys all aspects of dentistry with keen interest in Rotary Endodontics [root canal treatment], Orthodontics and Oral surgery. She constantly updates herself in the latest developments in dentistry through seminars and workshops.

Dr Shanthini Rao has undertaken further training in the field of orthodontics and holds a Progressive Orthodontics Certificate which is awarded upon completion of comprehensive 2 year program designed for general practitioner. Shanthini is also accredited provider for SmileTru, ClearSmile aligner, Inman aligner.

Known for her professional and friendly nature, Shanthini takes great pride in alleviating dental fears and ensuring that her every patient has an enjoyable dental experience. Her primary goal is to understand her patients’ concerns and empower them to take charge of their oral health.

Her attention to detail and commitment to lifelong learning has resulted in Shanthini consistently delivering quality dentistry second to none.

Dr Wessam Atteya - General Dentist

Dr Atteya worked in the Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne and in multiple private practices in Cairo, Egypt and Melbourne where he gained an extensive valuable experience.

Dr Atteya is a visiting lecturer at the Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne for the Clinical Training Unit of the Dental Health Services of Victoria.

Dr Atteya has attained the well reputable Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons (FRACDS-Sydney) and is now a mentor for the MRACDS-GDP program students.

He also holds the Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (MFDS RCSEd) and Membership of the Faculty of Dentistry of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (MFDS RCSI).

Dr Atteya has special interests in Implant Dentistry and Oral Surgery (especially wisdom teeth surgeries). In his free time, Wessam likes to play soccer and tennis with his two daughters and wife.
