Dr. John Hanna graduated with a Masters of Dentistry from La Trobe University, Bendigo, where he was awarded the Highest Achieving individual from his cohort. Dr. Hanna is a genuine believer in that 'the pursuit of knowledge is never-ending and the day you stop seeking knowledge is the day you stop growing.' As such, he is committed to enhancing his skills on a daily basis to guarantee his valued patients are receiving the most professional and up to date care.

Dr. Hanna also practices dentistry with the notion of 'treating others how you would like to be treated' and as such it's more than just dentistry for Dr. Hanna. He takes immense pride and solid commitment in getting to know his patients on a personal level and goes above and beyond to build and gain that trust, to ensure his caring for their overall wellbeing.

Dr Vincent graduated with a Masters of Dentistry from La Trobe University. Following this, Dr Vincent started working in Sydney before returning home to Melbourne.
Vincent believes that dentistry, just like life in general, is an ongoing learning process. For that reason, he is always finding different avenues to continue learning and enhancing his skills so that he can translate that into quality treatment for his patients.

Dr Vincent understands that every individual is different and has their own personal needs. He strives to understand his patients needs and provides his services based on that. In addition, growing up as a child with dental anxiety does help him empathise with patients who might share the same anxiety, and definitely motivates him to help make the patient experience a positive one.

Vincent loves all aspects of dentistry, and is well trained in providing treatments including Preventative and Restorative Dentistry, Cosmetic Dentistry, Crown and Bridge work, Root Canal Treatment, and Extractions. His passion for dentistry means that Dr Vincent is often attending courses to improve his skills as a dentist. He has been accepted as a Fellow of the International College of Continuing Dental Education (FICCDE), and as a Fellow of the International Academy of Dental Facial Esthetics (IADFE).

Outside of dentistry, Dr Vincent's main priority will be his family and he tries to spend as much time with them as possible. Dr Vincent loves his food and enjoys trying new restaurants and cuisines. On top of that, he also loves basketball and the NBA. In fact, his participation in basketball and the occasional gym sessions are probably the few things that keep him guilt-free from trying more food.

With a gentle and caring chairside manner, Dr Ken is committed to providing you high quality dentistry in a stress-free environment.
After working in private and public practices in regional and metro Victoria for many years, Dr Ken brings a wealth of knowledge to the clinic. From routine check-ups, all the way to a complete smile makeover, Ken is passionate about helping you reach your smile goals. To make sure he provides the optimal treatment for you, Dr Ken is always looking out for the next continuing education course so he can stay up to date with the latest advancements in dentistry.
Having grown up in the Southeast suburbs of Melbourne himself, Dr Ken is no stranger to the Vermont South community. Outside of work, you may find Ken playing tennis, badminton, or just socialising with friends and family over a nice meal. He looks forward to seeing you at Complete Smiles Vermont South soon.

Mrs Chau Chau - Hygienist

Chau is our Oral Health Therapist (OHT), who graduated from Charles Sturt University, achieving a Dean's Award. She has a dual qualification in dental hygiene and dental therapy. This means she can look after your periodontal (gum) health and also perform dental examinations, preventative and restorative treatments. As an OHT she has a strong focus on education and prevention of oral diseases. She will spend extended time with you to create a personalised experience and tailor an individualized home care routine. She plays an important role in the team by working with our dentists to stabilise and maintain your oral health. She is committed to making routine check up and cleans as comfortable as possible.

Outside of work Chau is a busy mum chasing after her toddler and baby dog cavoodle. When she gets the chance she enjoys food outings with her husband and experimenting with polymer clay.
