About our practice
Dr Dominic Radford undertook all of his medical training in the United Kingdom. He attended Birmingham University Medical School and then trained as a General Practitioner obtaining his MRCGP. He then completed his Masters in Sports Medicine at the Queen Mary’s University of London before then obtaining his Fellowship at the Faculty of Sport & Exercise Medicine which is part of the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh. He then worked as a Consultant Sports Medicine Physician at London Bridge Hospital running a busy sports injury clinic.
He has considerable experience working with elite athletes. He has variously been a team physician for England RFU, England RFL, Fulham Football Club & Leyton Orient Football Club. He was appointed as a lead physician for the London 2012 Olympics & Paralympics.
Personal details
Dominic moved to Australia in 2013 and was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and now runs a sports injury clinic within a primary care setting. He grew up in Romsey, Hampshire where he attended King Edward VI School, Southampton.
He enjoys participating in many sports at a recreational and competitive level including running, cycling, football and is an keen member of British Military Fitness. He is an avid follower of England Rugby Union and frequently watches internationals at Twickenham.
