This is a good medical clinic but for one serious flaw; no ventilation or air purifiers. When you walk into this clinic the stuffiness in the air is overwhelming. Not surprising when all the windows are kept shut and the receptionists refuse to keep the door open because they’re too cold. After I suggest they put cardigans on with a lot of eye rolling on my part, they concede and open the door, but only for me. As a person with a compromised immune system I have been horrified by this situation, and this was long before the Covid19 pandemic. I have tried to speak with various doctors at this clinic and have always been met with a bewildered response and a slight smirk (like what the hell’s she on about?). After nearly five years of my bringing this matter up, I’m yet to receive a response. As a past nurse of over thirty years experience, I’m acutely aware of the need to reduce airborne pathogens -all pathogen for that matter- especially in a doctors’ surgery. My anxiety levels sky rocket every time I have an appointment at this clinic. I do not appreciate being stonewalled or my concerns trivialized by medical professionals who should know better. Mind you, doctors are the worse health care professionals for acknowledging and complying with infection control.
