Dr Muhammad Aaqib is one of the best neurologist in Perth currently working at Fiona Stanley Hospital. He also provides services in Rockingham General Hospital. Following an internship in 2009, he completed specialty training in neurology at Fiona Stanley Hospital, Sir Charles Gardiner Hospital and Royal Perth Hospital.

After specialist training, he underwent further two years of subspecialty training in Stroke, EMG/NCS and Movement Disorders at Austin Health Melbourne in 2019 and 2020. He also worked as a Neurologist in Austin Health Melbourne before moving back home to Perth.

His clinical interests include Electrodiagnostics, Stroke, Botulinum toxin and movement disorders. Dr Muhammad Aaqib is an expert in administering botulinum toxin for migraine, dystonia, hemifacial spasm, blepharospasm and hyperhidrosis.

He is actively involved in clinical trials and research at Fiona Stanley Hospital. His passion is medical education, and he has received several teaching awards.
