Winnie is the founder of Movement Laboratory and is our principal physiotherapist and team leader. Her special interests are in treating dance & women’s health issues. Her role in the clinic is to lead with mission, vision, and purpose; thus she is evenly divided between treating, mentoring, and business development. She is currently completing her Masters in Pelvic Health & Incontinence at the University of Melbourne.
Following a successful dance career, Winnie moved into physiotherapy. As a physio, dancer and Pilates instructor, she has been passionate in working with dancers since early in her career. She has collaborated with schools and companies including Cirque du Soleil, McDonald College, Brent Street, Sydney Pole, and many others, treating dancers from ballet to Latin to pole to hip hop.
In 2018, Winnie started further training in Pelvic Health Physiotherapy. She discovered her love in helping women with pregnancy care and recovery, incontinence, prolapse, pain, and a range of other conditions related to pelvic floor dysfunction. Her main interest lies in treating pelvic pain conditions.
Winnie brings the same level of care to all her patients. She is a firm believer that quick fixes do not last, and lasting fixes are not quick. She adapts her systematic, persistent and caring treatment approach to educate and guide you through your rehabilitation.
Outside of the clinic, Winnie enjoys a quiet read, travelling, architecture, and spending time with her 2 girls.

Katy is trained in Clinical Pilates with the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute (APPI).
Outside the clinic, she is passionate about positive psychology and philosophy. She loves cooking, yoga, pilates, beach workouts and meditating.

Lauren grew up in Newcastle and recently made the move to Sydney to pursue her career as a pelvic health physiotherapist. During her time in Newcastle, she was practising musculoskeletal and pelvic health physiotherapy in a large multidisciplinary private practice. Her main interest is in postnatal recovery and helping women return to exercise and movement they love.
As a keen sportsperson and a pianist, Lauren grew up mastering the mind body connection in her own pursuits. She now adopts a holistic, wellness based approach to managing her patients’ health problems. She is trained in Clinical Pilates and integrates it with her treatment plans. She is a firm believer in treating not only the diagnosis, but whole person, and taking into account all aspects that lead to better quality of life for her patients.
Outside of the clinic, you’ll find her soaking up the Sydney sun. She is an AFL player and have a love for all things in the gym, as well as pilates, yoga, running and swimming.

He focuses on a holistic approach – treating the cause of pain and optimising body movements with neuroplasticity and retraining techniques. Rafki is the best manual therapist in the clinic. He is patient, caring and attentive. He also utilises dry needling and Shockwave Therapy to manage soft tissue injuries when applicable.
Rafki trained as a Clinical Pilates instructor with Polestar Pilates. After manual therapy, he uses movement education extensively to ensure patients form long-lasting habits that result in real changes and prevent a relapse of chronic pain.
For leisure, Rafki enjoys basketball, soccer and martial arts, and is the proud father of two!

Shannon Nutt - Physiotherapist

Shannon graduated from The University of Sydney in 2021 with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy), First Class Honours and the University Medal. She is an ex-elite Track and Field athlete which drew her towards physiotherapy from a young age.
Shannon completed her graduate year at St Vincent’s hospital, whilst also gaining experience working part-time in a private practice in Bondi, which solidified and broadened her physiotherapy skills. She is passionate about using movement to empower people and improve their well-being. Shannon is also qualified in APPI Clinical Matwork and Reformer Pilates, as she believes this is a strong adjunct to manual techniques.
Outside of the studio Shannon’s hobbies include growing her charity advocating for improved mental health, swimming at the beach and fashion.
