Dr Amanda Hu - Chiropractor - Female -English, Mandarin
Dr Amanda Hu graduated from RMIT University with a double degree, Bachelor's degree in Health Science & Bachelor's degree in Applied Science (Chiropractic).
During her internship at RMIT University, she gained clinical experience at the University's clinic and community clinic.
Dr Amanda decided to become a Chiropractor after she experienced the benefits of Chiropractic care when she injured herself while playing volleyball when she was 16. Amanda is passionate about delivering the best care to all patients, she uses a variety of techniques such as manual adjustments, soft tissue technique and drop-piece. Amanda never stops enriching her knowledge of Chiropractic practicing, travelling domestically and internationally to attend seminars throughout her study years. When not at work, Amanda always keeps herself active, she is an avid badminton player with friends and practices yoga and meditation.
Meanwhile, she is also a big fan of music and movies.
Dr Hayden Ford - Chiropractor - Male
Dr. Hayden Ford (Chiropractor) is a hard working Chiropractor who is an integral part of the Wellbeing team. Hayden's history of chiropractic began over 12 years ago, his body could not handle the stress of his sport, gymnastics. Due to the physical nature of the sport, Hayden suffered 3 shoulder surgeries, 3 shoulder dislocation and a fracture. It was through discipline that Hayden was able to reach heights of a professional gymnast. Hayden reached his highest peak in gymnastics when he competed at national level, international level and in trials for the Commonwealth games.
Hayden has a special passion for postural issues / conditions, chronic pain and surgical prevention due to having 3 shoulder reconstructions himself.
Hayden began his journey in helping others through 5 years of university at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Melbourne where he studied and completed a degree in Chiropractic.
Hayden practices what he teaches and recommends to his patients. Hayden firmly believes in being proactive with health.
Emily M - Chiropractic Assistant - Female
Emily is a young, organized and enthusiastic member of the Wellbeing team. She worked as a barista for 2.5 years but wanted to change things up a bit. She has always been interested in health and how the body works. She finds her position as a CA rewarding, seeing the improvement of patients health over a period of time. She likes building relationships with patients and having a little chat to get to know them better. Although she is not currently studying, she is learning many new things everyday.
Her organization is key to being efficient and everything running smoothly in her work.
In her spare time she enjoys long walks, photography and spending time with her family and friends.
Tarek Karaan - Chiropractor - Male - - Are walk-ins welcome with this provider?
Taren is an ambitious, driven and thrive on challenge, constantly setting goals for himself, so he has something to strive towards. He's not comfortable with settling, and is always looking for an opportunity to do better and achieve greater things. It's his intention to use Massage Therapy to support each patients health care plan and to provide quality care for all patients. He works with a variety of conditions and creates a customized, outcome-driven treatment plan for each patient to address their health needs. People often ask: Why massage is important? It Decrease Stress, we all experience stress in our lives, whether good stress or bad stress. Stress causes an elevation in cortisol and this can wreak havoc on our body and mind and cause dysfunction. You're one massage away from being in a good mood you can't put a price on health. In his spare time he enjoys time with his family and loves socializing with family and friends.
On weekends he also works with The United Eagles soccer club as their Massage Therapist.
He has a keen interest in AFL and follows the Mighty tigers.
Katelyn - Chiropractic Assistant - Female - - Are walk-ins welcome with this provider?
Being a CA at the Cragieburn and Epping clinics gives Katelyn a sense of fulfillment, what she loves about the job is that she get to interact with many different types of people on a daily basis, she loves the team atmosphere at the clinics and gets along well with the other members of our team.
Katelyn's duties include running front of house, maintaining the clinics and providing a friendly and welcoming experience for our clients Prior to becoming part of the Wellbeing team Katelyn was (and still is) a dog groomer and has been for almost 10 years, she started off in a small salon at the age of 16 and now co-manages with a wonderful lady at a salon in Northcote. She decided to seek out and alternative career to help fill in her time, she really enjoy having the variety in her working life.
In her spare time she enjoys drawing and also running her own art commission business in which she produces high quality hand drawn pet portraits for her clients.
She is also a horse enthusiast and enjoy schooling to improve her riding skills, she has been riding for 13 years now. She is somewhat of a jack of all trades and know a little bit about many different subjects.
Her hobbies include horse riding, art, photography and taking her dog on adventures all over Melbourne!
