Bona-Fide Dental is a private dental practice located in Reedy Creek, a bright and sunny location here on the beautiful Gold Coast. There are two dentists, Dr Bona Yang and Dr Lay Lim.

Dr Bona Yang - Dentist

Female - English, Korean
Qualifications: BDS UQ Education: Bachelor of Dental Science at the University of Queensland
Bona studied and completed her Bachelor of Dental Science at the University of Queensland in 1997 and since graduating has been practicing in the southern Gold Coast region for the last 20 years. Bona has a passion for promoting oral health and educating patients on how to maintain a healthier mouth. Bona believes that everyone can have a smile that looks great and also improves one’s overall well-being.Born in Korea, she moved to Australia as a child and grew up in Cairns and Brisbane. Bona remembers her early years in Korea as one of the happiest times, along with the birth of her beautiful son William. Bona describes the support of her family as the inspiration to give her absolute best everyday. Bona is passionate about craft, literature and music. She is also a proud Wallabies supporter together with her husband Ben. Bona is a talented quilter who loves to design one-of-a-kind quilts for her family and friends.

Dr Lay Lim - Dentist

Female - Bahasa, Cantonese, English, Mandarin
Qualifications: BDS Ade Education: Bachelor of Dental Surgery at The University of Adelaide
Dr Lay Lim (Lavin) completed her training and received her Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Adelaide, SA. Dr Lavin has worked in Adelaide and Mackay prior to joining our Practice. She is a compassionate and friendly professional who ensures her patients are at ease, and welcomes everyone with her enthusiasm and warmth. Dr Lavin is hugely committed to providing high quality dental care with an emphasis on disease prevention. One of her missions is to help patients overcome their fear of dentists. She enjoys practicing all aspects of dentistry and is particularly passionate in the areas of paediatric dentistry and prosthodontics.
