About our practice
Pearly Whites Dentistry is located in Devonport and services the local community and many patients that travel from all over the Northwest coast of Tasmania.
We are passionate about dentistry and pride ourselves on providing pain-free services to our patients in a comfortable, friendly environment. Our dentists undertake continuing professional development to keep on top of the latest technologies and to stay current with the services we offer, which assures we offer our patients nothing but the best.
Our practice is a preferred provider with Medibank, BUPA, HCF and SMILE health funds, however we accept all other health funds and offer onsite claiming with HICAPs.
Pearly Whites Dentistry is centrally located in the Devonport CBD on Best Street, directly across the road from Woolworths. We also have off-street car parking located at the rear of the premises.

Dr Kristina Hurrell - General Dentist - Female - English - Walk-ins are welcome with this provider.
Dr Kristina Hurrell has a friendly and approachable manner and is known to make all her patients feel at ease in the dental environment.
She enjoys all aspects of general dentistry with a particular interest in cosmetics and dental growth and development, as such she is very passionate about treating children and helping to manage them orthodontically.
She has also introduced a range of cosmetic treatments into the clinic so we can help to improve how you feel overall to match that pearly white smile. Since growing up in regional South Australia, Kristina completed her studies at Griffith University on the Gold Coast, with awards for Academic Excellence. Since graduating Kristina has worked between Tasmania and the Gold Coast, and has continued to strive to improve her scope of practice completing courses in Australia and abroad.
When she isnt busy working, Kristina enjoys travelling, spending time with friends and family and getting lost in a good book with a cup of tea.
Dr Nicole Perry - General Dentist - Female - English - Walk-ins are welcome with this provider.
Dr Nicole Perry is a Devonport local, completing her schooling at Devonport High and then Don College.
She has worked as a Registered Nurse in Emergency Departments on the Gold Coast, Cairns, Alice Springs and at the Mersey Community Hospital over the past 10 years before qualifying as a Dentist.
Nicole Graduated from James Cook University in Cairns, and is very excited to be moving back home after many years away. Nicole enjoys all areas of general dentistry and particularly loves treating children and providing oral health education.
She has spent 5 months working in Alice Springs, NT where she treated many Indigenous children and Adults, many from remote aboriginal communities. In her spare time you will likely find Nicole running around Victoria Parade, she competes Nationally in athletics for Tasmania in the 800m and is the current Tasmanian open champion over 400m and 800m.
Her other hobbies include shopping, walking her dog Mo, and reading.
Dr Owen Johnston - General Dentist - Male - English - Walk-ins are welcome with this provider.
Dr Owen Johnston grew up on the Gold Coast and spent 5 years working as a truck driver before deciding to pursue a career in Dentistry, it is this life experience that allows Owen to easily relate to people from all walks of life.
Owen worked as an Oral Health Therapist in Bundaberg before graduating from James Cook University in Cairns as a Dentist.
Owen is interested in all areas of general dentistry and has spent time treating patient in Thursday Island, QLD and recently spent 5 weeks working in the Solomon Islands where he treated many children and adults with very limited resources. He very much enjoyed the experience and would like to work in developing countries in the future.
Outside of work Owen enjoys hiking, 4WD and camping (hence the move to Tasmania), as well as wake boarding, motorbikes and keeping fit in the gym.
