Time to get an Appointment (Long > Quick)

    Listening Skills (Poor > Excellent)

    Treatment Explanation (Poor > Excellent)

Likelihood to recommend (Very Unlikely > Very likely)

I had to wait 7 days for an available appointment even after telling the receptionist I was in acute severe back pain. When I finally saw the Doctor he recommended I come back to see him in 4 weeks time, in the meantime try and arrange some physiotherapy. I have severe reactions to ALL pain medications. I can tolerate Panadol, that’s it. My doctor is well aware of my medication allergy’s. When I questioned him about the 4 week wait he just replied “come back in 4 weeks”.
Very unhappy with this treatment. or non treatment. I will not be seeing this doctor again. This is the second time this doctor has not listened or responded giving satisfactory treatment on the day of the appointment. The first time I attended with a urinary tract infection. in pain, the doctor told me to go and have a urine test at QML and come back in two weeks. No treatment for the UTI – just come back in two weeks. This is disgraceful. almost malpractice. Obviously when a patient attends the practice for treatment the patient expects and deserves to be treated. I am a retired Registered Nurse. I do not attend the doctors for minor complaints. Name of doctor available upon request.
