Dr. Elvie Nario-Anderson is an Australian-based health professional with a practice located in Vasity Lakes Queensland.
Elvie studied Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences then completed her Medical School degree at the University of The Philippines. She arrived in New Zealand in 1990 – loving the lifestyle, decided to make this her permanent home.
She has trained in internal medicine in New Zealand with an interest in geriatric medicine and adolescent health.
Elvie was a New Zealand representative to the adolescent health committee for the Royal Australia College of Physicians for 2 years. She is a member of the New Zealand College of General Practitioners and a trainee for the Royal Australian College of Physicians. She made Albany Basin Accident and Medical her base in the North Shore of Auckland. Elvie looks after a few retirement villages, rest homes and private hospitals. She is also a locum for the Driving Doctors in Auckland and air ambulance companies based in New Zealand and Australia.. Trained to look after the elderly and the disabled fairly early in life, her genuine understanding of the sick and the disabled makes her a compassionate and effective support for patients and their families in the different stages of transitions in their lives. Her vast medical knowledge and experience allows her to practice effectively and efficiently.
Elvie enjoys the outdoors and loves travelling, sailing and fishing.
