My Dad had to wait 4 weeks to see his local GP in Ferrers Clinic. I arranged an appointment for Dad to see a different GP sooner but the Doctor did not provide any service to our requests on the day, however, bulk billed anyway. All I was after for Dad was for the doctor to complete a My Health Care Plan and print out a medical summary which I needed urgently to organise respite care through a Service Care Provider and to organise urgent podiatry which the Falls Clinic down there failed to address a year ago. I appreciate Medical staff need to be paid for the appointment time but not when the clinic was made aware prior of what was needed, agreed to the appointment and then didn’t provide that service.
