Warning do not go see Dr. Minimol Zacharia!!!!
I got referred from another Gynaecologist to see Dr. Minimol Zacharia for a specific surgery. First time seeing Dr. Minimol Zacharia, waste of money very unprofessional and not organised. When I arrived at the reception filled out first patient form, I found out they did not have the documents my doctor sent prior to this appointment that was booked six months ago, with records of surgeries, side-effects, current/past medication I’ve been on, the past pictures of the surgeries, with the dates next to each topic/ item. I know for a fact this was sent through as I watch my doctor send through this information. As it was attached with the referral as you could only book an appointment with Dr. Minimol Zacharia if you have a referral. Appointment was 25 minutes late. The receptionist was trying her best to receive these documents from my GP and other specialists.
When meeting Dr. Minimol Zacharia, all my information was on the referral sheet that was sent through with dates of events, surgeries and current/ past medication etc. It was over five pages long. Dr. Minimol Zacharia asked me for all this information again when it was in front of her on the computer. She did not read or prepare beforehand and dismissed important information as I was giving it to her and not letting me finish sentences or responses to her questions. She referred to ‘her notes’ and a pass Gynaecologist that I no longer see due to mistreatment, but claims to trust his judgement as they’ve been working together in the field for 18 years rather than looking at current information as I have not seen him for two years and seeing another Gynaecologist at this moment time. During the appointment Dr. Minimol Zacharia kept saying that “she needs to look at the photos” “photos will speak more than anything” when Dr. Minimol Zacharia claimed she received them, then claimed in the same appointment that she has not received them, but then claims that she has seen them and then has not seen them again , then making a comment about my previous Gynaecologist (that I don’t see anymore) colleague of 18 years. (In other words trusting the other Gynaecologist reporting rather than reviewing it herself.) Then made the comment “I need to see the notes not the pictures” this is extremely concerning because this is not what she said at the beginning, because if she looked at the pictures she could’ve possibly seen something that was not in the notes and could’ve possibly pointed out something to get checked out rather than looking at the notes, Dr. Minimol Zacharia kept referring to my organs as normal even though I have PCOS. Appointment cost $300 for first time, I should be getting a refund as it was a waste of time and nothing came out of it. If I knew Dr. Minimol Zacharia was going to be unprofessional, disrespectful, dismissive, belittling, I would have gone to a different Gynaecologist that would have help me. Dr. Minimol Zacharia also clammed that what I’m going through is normal and can be solved by going on medication without referencing what current medications I am taking.
