My 21 year one sister when to Dr Gurpreet Sachdevss today to access an abortion pill, which is her legal right as a women living in Australia in 2024. The way he treated her was absolutely disgusting, arrogant and completely out of order. The way he spoke to her and her partner, lecturing both of them about using two condoms at the same time (which is not recommended by any of the company’s that produce and sell condoms in Australia). Questioning her decision over and over again through the whole appointment, forcing his personal opinion on her and then threatening to never allow her access the her LEAGL RIGHT again. To top off her atrocious 10 minute appointment with Dr Gurpreet Sachdev, my sister then went to the receptionist to pay her bill only for the “Doctor” to come storming out and demanding that her appointment to be charged at a Surgery Consultation Level C $175. This is despicable treatment from someone who is supposed to be a pillar in the community is horrific and I will be taking this matter further. Action must be taken before another women gets belittled by a sexist, outdated and law breaking “Doctor”
