We are very pleased to welcome Parisa Firouzmandi a caring nurse and health advocate that will contribute to The Health Today Blog.
Parisa is a fully qualified nurse currently working at the Austin Hospital in Melbourne.
At 27 years of age she has seen and gained more experience in her field than most. She is always trying to advocate health and help as many as she can, so much so that she recently worked in Kenya for 5 weeks to help as many people as she could.
“I just wanted to help the whole world, but I can’t” – Parisa
It’s no secret that nurses have one of the toughest jobs out there and that it takes a special type of person – Parisa ticks all the boxes. Parisa is extremely passionate for health, caring and understanding.
She is driven by her goal of one day being able to provide an education to those that live in less fortunate circumstances. This overarching goal drove Parisa to Kenya where she personally improved the lives of over 1000 people. Parisa will be blogging about these experiences in upcoming Health Today articles.
We are very excited to have Parisa blogging to Health Today – as a nurse it will be great to gain her knowledge and experiences within the Australian health industry.
